Condolence: With the passing of Sister Lucille, I am having to part with a precious lady that has been a part of my life and ministry for over 40 years. What a wonderful Christian lady she was! She was strong, faithful to the Lord and she had a great love for her family and the Church. And, she had a sense of humor that was a blessing to all who knew her. Also, she had a sense of place; she was from the mountains, loved the mountains and when in Central Kentucky, she loved people she met who were from the mountains. I find comfort today in knowing that even though she has departed from this life, her earthly remains will rest in the mountains and her soul is in the presence of the Lord and the holy hills of her eternal home! Thanks Janice for your faithfulness and care for your mother over the years. You are a wonderful daughter! Now, your mother is at eternal peace and has no unmet needs. Be assured that you’re in my thoughts and prayers and those of the Owingsville First Church of God.
