About Us
Having begun in the funeral business in 1919, Guy Preston continued his profession by aquiring the Preston Funeral Home in 1924. With the assistance of Elder O. I. Williams, Mr. Preston gained ownership of the Stafford property which on present day stands the Preston Funeral Home Building. This became a reality for the Preston Family and continued for several years until October 17, 1946. At this time, Charles E. and Celesta Preston purchased the funeral home. With assistance from their son – Charles D. Preston, and several dedicated employees, the Preston Family successfully operated this business until the untimely death of their son and shortly afterwards, his father. On the first day of January 1977, the firm was purchased by Michael Clay Preston and Deborah Slone Preston who accredit their success to the families who have been served by this firm, and most of all to God for all His blessings.
