Glen Young age 90 of Thealka, KY died Monday January 25, 2016. He was born October 21, 1925 to the late William and Flossie Daniels Young. Glen was a coal miner with Enoxy Coal Comp. and a member of the Thealka Free Will Baptist Church. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Jessie Castle Young. He is survived by five daughters Linda Young Thornsbury of River, KY, Lois Leslie of Prestonsburg, KY, Vickie Preston of River, KY, Glenda Morgan of Hager Hill, KY, Connie Breece of Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be Thursday January 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Preston Funeral Home, and after 11 a.m. Friday at the Thealka Free Will Baptist Chruch. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Friday at the Thealka Free Will Baptist Church, with Gary Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville, KY.
