Maggie Owens age 82 died Sunday March 1, 2015. She was born May 15, 1932 to the late John Red and Annie Cantrell Gambill. Maggie was a member of the Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church. Along with her parents Maggie is also preceded in death by her husband Walter Owens, one son Denny Owens, one daughter Sylvia Conley and four brothers Chilli, Delmer, Raymond and Johnny Gambill. Maggie is survived by three sons Billy Joe Owens and James Mitchell Owens both of Oil Springs, KY, Danny Phillip Owens of Meally, KY, two daughters Sandra Mullins of Harold, KY, Judy Faye Mollett of Kermit, WV, six brothers Ronnie Gambill of Sand Lick, KY, James Gambill , Elmer Gambill and Pearl Gambill all of Piqua, OH, Hearl Gambill of Decdauter, IN, Vonnie Gambill of Crockett, KY, two sisters Gladys Keaton and Lola Smith both of Smith Creek, KY, several grandchildren, great grandchildren also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday March 2 and all day Tuesday March 3 at the Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church, with Delbert Music and Bruce A. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Owens Family Cemetery at Oil Springs, KY.
