Etta Mae Smith, age 79, of Hazard died Saturday November 28, 2020. She was born October 3, 1941 to the late Bob and Zola Holland Moore. On September 9, 1961 in Hazard, she married Johnny Smith who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death is one brother, Robert Moore Jr. and one sister, Peggy Jean Noble. Etta is survived by one son, Johnny Smith of Bulan, KY; one brother, Ernest Moore of Hazard, KY; three sisters, Charlene Boggs of Lotts Creek, KY, Janice Messer of Hazard, KY, and Linda White of Hazard, KY. A private service will be held Wednesday at the Bulan Community Baptist Church with James Hamlin officiating . Burial will be in the Camp Nelson Cemetery at Nicholasville, KY, on Thursday.
